Rumor: Major New LEGO Fortnite Feature Leaked Online

It looks like LEGO Fortnite could be getting a major new feature just a few months after the game’s official release on December 7, 2023. After launch, Epic supported LEGO Fortnite with updates by addressing issues players were facing and fixing bugs while adding new weapon tiers and tools, but fans have been asking for more.

LEGO Fortnite has enjoyed a fair share of success since its launch, even boasting a higher player count than Fortnite Battle Royale at one point. However, excitement for the open-world survival video game has significantly died down, with fans tirelessly asking Epic to make major changes. After exploring what LEGO Fortnite has to offer, players have patiently awaited new updates and in-game content that further elevates their exploration of the various biomes.

According to a leak by BeastFNCreative on Twitter, Epic is preparing Island Codes for Custom LEGO Worlds, which will be playable like regular maps from Discover. Island Codes have always been a popular and fan-favorite map for many Fortnite players, so it’s possible Epic may include them in LEGO Fortnite. If the feature is introduced, it’s anyone’s guess as to what it may entail. Some players hope it may contain PvP, as they think Epic is missing out on an opportunity to transform LEGO Fortnite enemies into complex and more challenging characters.

Island Codes could be an excellent addition to LEGO Fortnite, as they will allow players to create and share their creations with the rest of the Fortnite community. These mini-games may offer a great break from exploring the different biomes and collecting resources to build impressive items. Some players have exhausted all the existing content in the gamewith some LEGO Fortnite players building massive castles while another has created an impressive mesa village. As a result, adding Island Codes for Custom LEGO Worlds could offer a lot of new content to dive into for hours.

Island Codes Could Be a Good Move on Epic’s Part

Some fans on social media have made it clear that this new feature would be a good move on Epic’s part. Others can’t wait to see what the community does with it, including the mini-games creators will come up with. Even though fans are looking forward to this change, it’s just speculation at the moment. Epic hasn’t provided any information, and leakers know nothing more regarding the game’s Island Codes. A recent LEGO Fortnite leak revealed new content and weapons but nothing about Island Codes. Only time will tell whether Epic plans to add this new feature, so fans should keep an eye out for any updates.
